New expansion was announced, here's the link if you haven't seen it yet. Not much info out yet though.

My suspicion is that they will split up Plane of Time and release only some of the zones for December. The snail as a mascot is... omminous.

They say new content and then they say they say the Planes. I am hoping it's not another expansion of zones we already have.

Invest a few million goofy so they can hire a 100 or so artists and computer people to make new zones.

Revamping every zone in the old world is a winner for them. When was the last time you were in your home city that wasn't in connection with origin?

I didn't say I didn't expect it, I just had hope for some reason that it would be original. I should know by now hope is hopeless.

Yep I am reading that as a "revamp" of the old POP.

hopefully if they're reusing old zones, they can spend some time on proper missions. More than 3 anyway.

I think we should be more upset that in 10 months we've beaten TWO raids in this expansion before we bitch about the one that isn't even out yet.

There was a time we were always at least an expansion behind. At least we're doing current content.

Agreed with Goofy on this one. Also I'm just hoping no level bump!

Amen, I really missed the TBM/EOK heroic missions this time around. Nothing but progression group tasks makes me sad.

This was a time where we weren't fully decked out in the previous expansions raid gear. We've really no excuse for not being able to do more content than we are. We are over geared for content and still getting destroyed. Heck we still can't beat eok raids with a lot of ros raid gear AND levels/power.

I'm just hoping there are a couple raids in the new expansion we can do so we aren't stuck doing goro and cactus for another year. I'm not sure even I could survive that boredom.

While I agree with Rashod ...we really need to look at the strats and what we are doing to not succeed. in the past once we got it...we got it. we do have a large influx of new folks and not as many leaders( when I say leader I do not mean someone that bitches and whines I mean those that help the class and guides the fight).

Sadly the strats are, have a raid force that dps's, tanks, and heals properly. There isn't an easy button strat that makes it so 10-15 people can make up for the other 40 people. Luckily there are two easy raids this expansion where that is possible (goro is practically a gimme).

I don't know how to post any more useful information in the beastlord realm, and I honestly I can't do much more than copy and paste for the other classes. Bitching is all i've got left. The guides are out there the help has been given.. its on the individuals to do better at this point. I'm certain it isn't that hard to follow a guide, assist, and push the buttons.

you have done great for the beastlords and I have no other solution but to mentor in each of our classes...I know that healers are doing amazing now.. tanks seem to communicate vastly. ranger we do ok could be better. What is hard is to influence without pissing a person off to the point that they don't quit are get fed up with the game...All I am asking is to not belittle folks and be more understanding;for example,...lets not post a persons parse after an immediate death or computer crash and state that is there normal dps. (GET WHAT I AM SAYIN?). and I do agree with you, it does seem that there are only 10 to 15% but we can make it better by helping...not alienating. OMG was I a positive and friendly OER?

And honestly you have done a lot more assisting than beastlords...I may seem crass I apologize rashod, I know you give 200% sometimes it is the mentorship that makes it happen.

I can just get us back on track! I think a POP revisit expansion seems good. It was one of the more memorable times of EQ for me. I think that's about all the info we have, POP based and a snail model for... something. Heres to hoping we get to kill the snail god, and hopefully don't need old POP progression to get in.😀

I hope it doesn't represent the snails pace of waiting in line for progression mobs to spawn like old PoP.

Was thinking the same thing. If there's not instances then I vote we go back to just doing old checkmarks until the 2019 expansion.

Wouldn't be surprised if they offer a long quest for something shiny that starts off with having old progression complete.

OMG there MUST be instances!!

I remember the huge guild fights over access to VT before instances existed. Not something that I'd ever choose to do again!
