Pottery...
So, what a great route from 250 on up? I don't mind buying components (if I have to), but I hate stuff with a zillion steps, or anything involving enchanting (since I have no access to an 'chanter).
Re: Pottery...
I used the large axe head mold route to 282?ish. It is:
To 274 -> 4 large block of clay, large axe head shaped mold sketch, and immaculate silk
To 280 something -> Same recipe, but substitute fantastic silk
It think I spent 100-200pp on each silk in the bazaar.
Then the rest of the way up star ruby encrusted stein, which I had to bum some enchants for. I am sure someone will be more than willing to do the enchants for you.

Has links to the combines. Enchanter only needs to be lvl 39 as well, so quite easy to make an alt real fast if it comes to that.

Agree with Tarvas, the easiest pottery combines with the least number of subcombines is weapons ornaments. Doesn't cost much plat either except for the dropped component. Some sell for a bit of profit in the baz but they slowly.
Star Ruby Encrusted Stein is a 100% vender route to 300 in pottery. Tons of subcombines tho and you need a baby chanter for the clay. However, in compensation for all the extra clicking the end result tributes for more than the plat that you put into it. That part was a huge pain in the ass back when we could only tribute in our home towns but with a tribute master and kiln conveniently located in our guildhall and massive bag space it's much easier these days.
Or if you want to make a bit of profit you can do powersources. Downside is you need a higher level chanter for vials of purified mana and the run for components in Barren Coast is an annoyance. Also, the margin is pretty low and the components cost a lot so it doesn't take many failures to start losing money. Upside is that both the throwing and the firing steps triv over 300 and on the way to buy components you can swing by the kerra village in Tox Forest and slaughter a boatload of kitties for slayer achievements.

Re: Pottery...
i could not find the weapons ornament recipes when i did it, so I went with the steins.
Re: Pottery...
Here a few.
Unfired Aegis of Blackscales Ornament -328 using essences of Alaris.
Unfired Aligned Long Spear Ornament - 328 using planar energy.
Unfired Obsidian Scale Katana Ornament - 308 using dream dust.
Just do your search for ornamentation and select pottery in Zam and it will bring them all up. You just need to find the ones that only require one dust.
