Dont be silly, levels bump our gimp ass folks up way more than aa that they will never acquire do.

Levels and spells are major power boosts which help us advance while be it in the year befores content. Non-level increase expansions have very low power boosts, see TBL progression for how thats suiting us.

Still, levels and new gear can't fix poor gameplay. It can help with some of the simpler stuff that doesn't require much finesse...

??? Not sure what you're referring to in our current raiding lineup. Most we simply need more DPS/hp/ac/effort to beat. There's no weird mechanics in the ones we should be finishing.

I believe that Cymril was referring to the lack of apparent effort by too many of our raiders.

Ah, I thought gameplay = mechanics. Yes, that's true, it won't make people play better, but it will make their characters default better.

Hmm, so we beat GMM with only 10 good players? Crazy.

Yep! Luckily they gave us a raid with zero mechanics that need to be followed besides stand in this spot and let the single tank handle all of the emotes!

Raid is a gimme raid as stated by the devs, and we barely beat it. Took us about 10x as long as the rest of the world.

We, yeah. Like our guild. You know? The same way you say we about sporting teams or race car drivers you have no direct connection with? At least I do have a connection when I use it.

So, that raid where all the shit was going on with mechanics and AEs and the dragon is just a stand in a spot and attack? Like an old KD raid? Sure as hell wouldn't guess that by the first few practice attempts I was at. Crazy. Well, should go faster and faster each time from here then.

It 100% won't go faster, because this isn't a mechanic based raid, it's a DPS check. If our DPS improves, it's possible, but that is what we need, not experience beating the event.

And yes, this is the raid that has adds that spawn that are also (by us) tanked and spanked, just like the dragon. The MT spins the dragon before its emotes/AE's hit the rest of the raid, so no one else is worrying about emotes. If this is an "all the shit going on" raid, I'm actually playing a wizard.

Roles:
1 MT to tank dragon, spin during emotes
1+ tank picking up mechanics as they spawn, DPS them down immediately
1 Enchanter to mez rats
DPS does DPS (Dragon or Mechanics if they're up)
Healers heal the 2 tanks and cast AE heals

OR

1 MT to tank dragon
DPS
Bards lure mechanics
Healers heal the MT and cast AE heals

My sadface was more so trying to make myself belly up the cash to run three accounts to grind the levels again. Can barely make myself keep Farrens active (most of the time) as it stands. But always glad to set off a lurking powder keg!
