It's old, it licks anything that moves and it's back!!!

Postby Nerple » Thu Apr 17, 2014 6:43 pm

Hey all! If anyone hasn't noticed yet, I have returned to the land of Norrath! Though a lot has changed since you last saw me! In September of 2012 I was working on assignment at Osan Air Base, but the night before I was due to return Stateside I suffered a Stroke. I somehow was able to get help and before my company could arrange transport home I would have three more strokes which severely limited my abilities with my left side and left me unable to walk. I'm back in therapy now and managing to walk up to 85' with a walker and a leg brace which I hate but it's a vast improvement over where I used to bel I am finding EQ to be a bit of a challenge playing one handed and I apparently have 5 levels left to grind out! And of course have to get gold again to catch up on AA! But I am back for now and once I find a comfortable setup I'll be back to grinding! I look forward to seeing you all on the battlefield and backstabbing all of you lings until your race is exterminated!

Eighty-five feet? Hell, I can't walk much further than that without needing the walker and brace! Good job! And great to see you back hon.

Welcome back, and would possibly one of those gaming keyboards that you can assign multiple tasks to keys help?

Rangers can do stuff one handed no problem. A multi-bind key which is explained here can automate all of your combat functions to one key (spell casting and disc). If you want I can also put an example of how I put AAs together for burns so it only a click of a button to get your disc and AAs to go off.

Oh Nerple I am sorry to hear about all of this! I am glad you are doing better... Stay strong my friend, it's a pain in the butt now with all the rehab, but in the end it will be for the best!

Never! Though my no scholarship college did just win the NCAA hockey title! Even better considering we are a 2000 student school in a shitty upstate New York city, and we are a D3 school (But won the D1 title) downing Boston College and Minnesota in the Frozen Four!
