Which movie? there have been several attempts to make Dune. The mini series SCI FI did is the best I have seen so far. Just way too much in that book to be able to translate it well to the screen.

the acting in the sci-fi series was awful but the adherance to the book was better than the movie. More importantly, the series flowed better and was less confusing
