The phased restoration will include the return of nearly all of SOE's portfolio of online games, the reinstatement of SOE's game forums and websites, and added functionality to require players to reset their passwords."

Sony Online Entertainment just posted the following on Facebook:

"We wanted to let you know that our games will not be up this weekend. We are working around the clock to get our services back up and running soon. Thank you for your continued patience and support."

For more details on the hacker attack that has kept SOE down since May 2 and compromised the personal information of players, check out SOE's brief FAQ and all of our previous coverage.

Have fun, it is raining here so I guess it is either back to work (yukk) or doing chores that don't get done due to EQ.

Its interesting just how many games are affected. Free Realms down too - my kids play that. We have 3 Lifetime subscriptions to full memberships (Cost us about $35 Each).

Sony has - SOMETHING to do with Toontown online - however that service is unaffected. Prolly hosted by Disney servers.
