I know this sounds stupid prolly, but I really liked the feature of recently posted on sites..since that usually indicates the sites of highest interest at the moment....seems this version is much harder to navigate thru, at least for me. Just my two cents.

Going to have to agree with you cami. It's not that this version is hard to navigate, just takes longer to get to the new posts instead of clicking on them from front page.

Note that there is a "View posts since last visit" link in the top right hand corner of the forum list. In many ways gooder than the recent posts block.

That "View posts since last visit" is almost always inaccurate for me. Not sure if it is for anyone else or not

I think mine is working fine. If it is leaving something out then either I have been takling too long browsing the boards and someone is responding while I am still here...

or I wouldn't notice anyway until the next person responds to the post when I visit tomorrow =)

It hasn't been inaccurate for me yet, and I suspect I'm a heavier user than most people.

However, as has been mentioned elsewhere, I'm working on bringing back a feature for the 15 most recent active threads. I've just been short on time.

I love the link you click I feel I dont miss as much since it doesnt seem limited to only 15..

The other day I looged in and had 66 posts YAY, So imo keep the link while your adding the other feature

At the bottom of the forum list is a scrolling list of most recent active posts. I'll work on a more proper solution (I hate automatically scrolling text).

i was speaking of the unread posts link as innacurate. i am on the site very often, and most times when i leave. and come back hours later it says i have (X#) of posts unread. i go look and its the same posts i looked at 2hours previous. i dunno, not important really. But it does get my hopes up only to let me down on occasion lol

Can we get a side link like you have at the top of the page on the left side? Something where I can switch to the front page and the forum if i need to?

If you click the Logo at the top it will take you to front page. If you click forum on the front page it will take you to the forum.

That's what you're talking about right?

I can also add more links across the top - Usergroups is unused, can be changed to the forum index (with the logo going to the front page), and Memberlist can go to something else, and and and.

I need to sit down and do this sometime, but.. Oh. Someone took the work off my desk and did it when I was out sick yesterday. Excellent.

Oh one thing I miss is the scroll of other posts at the bottom when you go to make a reply. Makes it much handier for referencing to another post, I wouldn't have to open 2 windows

Is the QuickReply box (ah, I missed it) supposed to be below the "New Topic", "Post Reply", breadcrumbs, 'post page' bit?

And I can't believe there are so many 'yes' votes. Clearly the answer is 'no'.

That's where I put it, anyway. I'm not sure where it properly belongs. I initially thought it made more sense for the breadcrumbs to be above the box, as people are more likely to use them than the quickreply, but I personally go to the bottom of the page, and the crumbs being above the box makes them inaccessable... So they'll probably be moved.

I see your logic in that, and can't say that I disagree.

To my eyes, though, they look hidden. And, well, out of place. Although that may just be a side effect from seeing them "the other way" so frequently.

Another update.

Added the Attachment mod. Currently doesn't appear with Quick Reply, I'll be fixing that shortly. Maybe.
