Awesome hun! A certain wise leezard pointed out to me once, that no matter what gear you get it can always become outdated, but that tradeskills are something that stick with your toon permanently! Yeah, since he put it that way I've been gung-ho on completing them.

Make sure to update your skills on our snazzy chart the smart people (not me) worked so hard to put up! :) http://cn.bitarchitects.com/Tradeskills.asp is where you'll want to go!

I have found out that some of the new epics require tradeskills..i.e. the Druid 1.5 requires a 100 lvl in brewing, as far as I have read. I would like to know if any other classes require tradeskills to comeplete? And are these items nodrop? I just spent 2 days farming rats ears and spider legs and I assume it's nodrop product?

Rogue epic 1.5 has 4 main tradeskill parts to complete
Smithing (plus a bit of jewel craft)
Poison Making
Tailoring
and Baking
all trivial in the 120-180 range i believe

the actuall tradeskilling is not to bad its the rare or difficult drops that takes the largest amount of time to get

Ah, I have a feeling they all require some tradeskilling of one kind or another. While some have completed their shawls, and others (ahem) are stil working on theirs, I think many of us will be tradeskilling to even get going on the new epics. I have found out that I absolutely stink at brewing and have hunted rats and spiders so often that I dream about them. Ewwww! In the mean time, I still need to forage in EJ and NRO...sigh. The foraging part for the casters and hybrids can be a REAL pain. I don't dare look past the things I have to do yet, lest I get so discouraged I say...BAH! (Polite board expletative ) Oh well, one step at a time :D

EEPS Ryan!

Shoot Jhereg a tell...he knows where to go to level up brewing to 248 in one sitting. It is Gukta I believe. In any case he took me there and in a couple hours I nearly maxed my brewing. Lots of clicking but NO farming what so ever, and it is very very cheap!!!!!

I have the tradeskill bug back again as well. I'm going to start the Aid Grimel quest once I can save up 3 AAs to allow me to break 200 with smithing.
Yes I'm a glutton for punishment, of course that's why I hang around with Akgriz. :p
