Hmm

Postby Marylin » Fri Sep 17, 2010 4:14 am

So here I am trying to sneak online for the first time in three years to see everyone, an low and behold it wont let me. I did dis, did dat, even parted with money an such :( An now, the SONY people are being mean! I would like to file a complain, but filing complaints is as useful as asking a mob I am fighting to hold on a minute I need to dart off an see a cleric!

This is the issue, I download EQ (Yep, I got talent) but I ran the little bugger for two days and it wont ever complete my download! Even though it says it has, guess I should stick to college! Least that has fewer things to make me look dumb, not that its hard to do such!

P.S. It took a year, but I managed to sell enough alluminum cans to play EQ again for a few months!

Hi Marylin, I've no clue why it would do that. I think you can go to the sony site and download a new patcher directly from their help section though. Have you told it to do a full scan in the screen after you enter your password?

Ok, here I go into DL land! *Dives into the abyss* Oh I had forgotten how fun this could be... no really, and it was pleasant. Thanks for the help, once a navigator, always a navigator I see :) Oh well, seems it will be another day or two until I get on. *sniffle*

what OS are you using? Vista/7 or XP? if Vista or 7 and you're trying to install in the Program Files directory that could be the problem. the OS doesn't like it when you modify files there.

I see, just like most things the comp wants it done its way! No, bad comp... better float test it! Hehe, actually I figured out the issue and it was not running in compatibility mode for service pack 2. Now that it took so long, see you all tuesday... I am heading off to live in a tent for two days :)
