I personally started with the 2005 episodes.

I am not sure how far I would have gotten if I started on the black and white ones, tho I have watched some of them after.

I haven't seen the old episodes, just the new ones with Rose. The Doctor cracks me up though!

Smallville has me captivated at the moment, loved the season finale.

Started watching Dr. Who but never show on BBC anymore so i lost interest.

Mostly been watching Inuyasha from the beginning, new to me since adult swim keeps showing the last few episodes over and over.

If your a big anime fan a carton by the name of Tenjo Tenge is coming to the music channel Fuse, tommorow around midnight... very good anime.

I have also been watching new series this season which is
Blood Ties - vampire / detective series solving supernatural problems

Dexter - really neat series, a forensic blood splatter specialist which is also a killer in the nights. Psycological series.

Lost Room - some items has special powers, and a key used in any lock opens a door into the lost room. A girl is lost in there and her father is a detective which then begin a search for her. This ofcourse is connected with finding and using these special items. Only 6 episodes is made, and they finish the first season.

WOOT Sid, I'm watching Blood Ties too! Not a bad show at all! I have really really been enjoying it. Vicki (the detective) is starting to show some complex corners of her psyche, which livens things up a bit. Good show, I recommend it.

I was watching Dresden Files, but the stupid network cancelled it. Drats.

Same for Jericho, the show about a post-nuclear town in Kansas, EXCELLENT show with Skeet Ulrich and some hot leggy blonde chick. :P It was cancelled too, but there was SUCH an outcry by the fans that the network has brought it back, YAY. Here is a link to the reason why fans sent over 50 tons of peanuts to CBS in protest at their abortive cancellation of the show: http://www.eonline.com/news/article/ind ... 07ac88f4ab

Some funny stuff. :)

Anyway, other than those shows, I'd like to start watching Rome & Deadwood since people earlier in this post gave it such high marks. I'm watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer just because Joss Whedon wrote it, and it's got to get good sometime. It does have witty dialogue for such a silly show (I'm not done with the first season yet).

Anyone else have any good shows they could recommend? Is Lost still worth watching, or Grey's Anatomy? What about some sci-fi shows?

Lost and Grey's Anatomy are excellent Vitala!
I'm just beginning season 2 now of Grey's... Supernatural is also quite good.

Awesome on Jericho, I too got hooked on it and was not very happy about it getting cancelled.. imagine putting it up against American Idol and expecting it to survive hehe

Started watching the first season of lost about 3 weeks back and now midway through the 2nd season. Am I the only one who wants to slap half of these people around?

I am a big fan of both HBO productions and SciFi for original content. Some of the shows I really enjoy catching are:

Battlestar Galactica (I really loved that wicked season finale)
4400 (I recommend snaging begining seasons on DVD)
Big Love
Deadwood
(Loved Rome)

I am a sucker for good characters.

Lost is the most frustrating show on TV, just die or get of the island already :!:

Well I have to say your annoyance will increase, it starts to get better again at the end of the next season but...getting to that point in the series means sifting through much garbage

Watched the season finale of the Sopranos last night. Thought it could have been better. However, I did catch the show afterwards. The new one, Joe from Cincinatti or something like that. It was odd enough to keep me watching for the entire hour. I think this one will be good as well. It had the weirdness that kept me tuning in to Six feet Under.

Big Love is a series about a Mormon Polygamist family and their struggles to hide their tabboo lifestyle within their Mormon community. Coupled with that is that they are always in the shadow of the Father-in-law whom I expect is loosely based on a character such as Warren Jeffs.

All in all, I think it is a good show.

I'm just on season three of the Sopranos. I HOPE they don't kill Tony off in the last season. :/ I've heard speculation about it.

Thanks for the info on Big Love, Bobbert.
