Internet Explorer 7

Is now available in a non-Beta version. There is also a add-on everybody should get which is from Answers.com. I highly suggest everybody get the new version of IE using Windows Update. I like it alot. As always, backup your stuff up if possible, just in case.

I read a bit over the features and I saw they changed from multi page application to single page application.

Is it possible to configure it back to a multi page application?

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but you can open a link in a new IE or you can open a tab inside the IE your on to show two pages.

I'm assuming that a tab inside the first IE is the most memory efficient way.

Next you'll want me to change from 2000 to XP. Piff.

Well, I saw some Screenshot and I like the new surface a lot.

Seems well sorted and seems to leave a bigger visible area as well so I am likely giving it a shot.

On the other hand theres no reason to upgrade Win2k to XP other than feeding my Zen Vision is a little bit more troublesome and I haven't figured out how to upgrade my Zens firmware with 2k yet .. but thats not enough to make me upgrade :)

So this new browser from Emporer Gates is good? Have there been any issues folks have found?

Working pretty good here.

Only quirk i have is, can't really move around the tool bars much. But that is no biggie with me, i do like the new interface.

Another neat thing is the search bar... you can input the other search engine like google, ask, yahoo and so forth. All you need to do is click and change with search engine you want and wallah.

Spent the other day updating to Firefox2 and IE7. After that i spent quite a bit on adding lil things to improve. Added 1-click answers which is off one of my favorite sites for looking up stuff ( http://www.answers.com ).

And for Firefox I added just a weather forecast program, Not 100% accurate but gives a general idea.

Really liking the spell check and answers.com features I added.

I will probably stick with Firefox because it gets updated faster and is open source.

I got forecast fox for firefox and it seems fairly accurate here. As for web browsers I still prefer Firefox over IE. It's been more secure and I've actually had much less spyware/adware make it's way through to my system. Though I'm sure IE has improved with version 7.0...I still only use IE to open up pages that won't display correctly otherwise.
