Patching PoR

Postby Ommina » Tue Feb 21, 2006 12:31 pm

For those that can do so, get those patchers running now!

On a cable connection, I have a one hour patch ahead of me. Yes, I have been downloading the PoR files as they have come along, so I shouldn't be that far behind.

If you are on dialup... well, I feel badly for you at the best of times. But this patch has the appearance of being especially nasty.

In fairness, the files are not coming in at typical speeds; the patchers are likely pretty busy. But it is only going to get worse tonight before it gets better.

Click the button now.

My patcher was 1 hour and 30 minutes at the top, been creeping down.

Got my friend on the phone... his patcher says 95 hours...
Kattia - 73 Berserker
Zady - 80 Ranger -semi-retired
Serinae - 72 Enchanter - retired on that other account..

/grin

To address issues with the guild banks, all guild halls will be taken down and unavailable while this is being fixed. We assure you, all guild bank items will be restored.

We will most likely be updating again around 3am PST on Wednesday morning. If we get the issues resolved esrlier then that, we will update as soon as possible.

Server stability issues are being investigated.

/claim should now be working to claim your warhorse if you purchased the retail box version of Prophecy of Ro.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience!

OK, we KNEW there was going to be another patch. But it's still fun to see it confirmed.

I'm just dreading the thought of the changes I'll have to make to my custom UI so it'll work with PoR!

Not a new UI, just some changes to the existing one to accomodate more bank space, buff blockers, auras, ect.... It just means that if you have a custom UI you'll likely need to update a few files. Mine actually didn't turn out to be as bad as I though it might.
