The most horrid Christmas carol performance ever

Postby Blackbane911 » Fri Dec 23, 2005 10:28 am

Dear guildies,

I've found it. Quite possibly the most wretched performance of O Holy Night ever to blemish a recording studio.

Now in my experience as a professional musician, I have encountered several individuals who were in absolute denial or were otherwise oblivious to their lack of talent.

(To wit: "OO OO Hey! Can my cousin LaQuisha come up and sing with the band? She's really good, and is even thinking about turning pro!")

The crooner on the clip linked below may be one of them. However, this performance is so absolutely bad, it could only have come from the mind of a twisted soul who knew exactly the damage he was about to do.

Crank up the speakers, and be sure not to be drinking any fizzy drinks while listening.

Happy Christmakwanzakah all,

BB

Oh man! You guys missed out on the best part!

When he gets to "FALLLLLL on your KNEEEEEEEEEEEEES etc." I was on the floor in tears.

At that point, my dog then became amorous with one of the stereo speakers....

Cheers,

BB

Well, Terry and I managed to suffer through the entire thing. We were laughing our asses off. That was really really terrible, LOL. Terry kept saying, "This was intended to be sung like that as a joke, right? It MUST be a joke."

Worst part, of course, is I think this wasn't intended as a joke and that this moron actually believes he's got talent, roflmao.

I remember when I was a kid and my father suddenly found square dancing. He wasn't content with just being part of the sub-culture and going to dances, however. He wanted to be a "caller", which is what they call the people who get up on stage and sing with the recorded music, replacing normal song lyrics with commands for everybody to perform a particular dance move, etc.

He had a TON of 45's (those were vinyl records similar in size to CD's) and he would play them constantly on his stereo with a microphone plugged in so he could practice.

He was very loud.
He was very tone-deaf.
He was very annoying.
It scarred me for life, LOL.

I finally downloaded this and threw-up in my mouth. I caught it though so all my computers survived.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Can I have those few minutes of mine and my families life back???? PLEASE!!!!

Day after Christmas I tortured my family for the few moments this song was playing, and by the time we got in the middle of the song, my family had ALL migrated to the computer room, and were screaming and begging me to turn that **** OFF!!!!

It eventually came down to either I turn it off, or I could move out, LMAO!!! So I turned it off, LOL!

THAT WAS HORRIBLE!!!

Yeah, lol. I'll host the shows on occasion for them if they're out of town or something. It can be fun but mostly I need a few beers before I can really get into it!
