Work induced vacation

Postby Truthseeker » Mon Mar 28, 2005 8:58 am

On 3-29-2005 @ 6:55 AM I will be boarding a big silver bird heading to Chihuahua Mexico. If all goes well, I will return on 4-8-2005. If it goes really well, I hope to be back sooner.

LOl I can relate Saph! We went down once while we were living in Tucson. My son was 1/4 Native American (I'm so politically correct!). Anyway, they held him at the border until I could go back to Tucson (2 hr drive) and come back with his birth certificate! In the mean time, my best friend was stuck there with 3 kids between 2 and 4 years old...she deserves saint hood for that one hehe.

Major rule is if you travel across borders, have all your documents with you and in order hehe!

Have an excellent time Truth, you will be missed badly and welcomed back with dances of joy on tippy toes!

Take care dear, have a good trip and come back to us safely to charge into the fray as you do so well!

Hiya Truthseeker,
Hope you are having a good time in Mexico, and just wondering when you are going to give up the facade that you are there for work....admit it man!! you are there for fun...hehe. Anyways, hope they let you come back soon...otherwise...would suck to end up coming back AFTER a certain other pally currently stuck in Afghanistan...ROFL..

What about the vicious wild packs of little dogs in Chihuahua? Staying safe and on the lookout I hope? I hear they can't be pacified.
:)
Take care Truthy. Miss ya.

Well as of 4-15-2005, I was finally headed home.

I worked every day except the one I managed to get off. On my last day they tried the work around the clock routine. Enough of that idea.

On the day of my departure, I had to go in and work on a problem. Well, I was unable to finish that.

10 to 14 hour days hurt. Especially when things are going slowwwww. Hurry up and wait comes to mind here.

I am back and I am really rusty. The very first fight I am in I am being pounded. I could not remeber how to get into attack mode. I made sure I had safer encounters till I could get the feel for the game back.

A brief expense report for my 3 weeks:

Airline - 780 + 100 for ticket change
Room - 1700+
Food billed to room from Denny's - 130+
Taxi's - 200+
Food other than Denny's - Lol still working on it

Other expenses - still working on that too

I really hope to finish expense report tomorrow

I am glad to be back and to once again join up with all of you.

Wow $130 in Denny's food....that's a LOT of grand slams, lol.
