It is supposed to be compatible with Windows 7 and 8, so the answer should be yes. I signed up to get it, but I decided after the fact I'm not going to mess with it. It never fails that there will be a problem and cause me to reinstall the whole system.

I found something I won't be in favor of...

Windows 10 Home users will have updates from Windows Update automatically available. Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Enterprise users will have the ability to defer updates.

Hope this isn't true, I don't want forced updates when im limited bandwidth... 10gb a month isn't much. I do all my downloads and updates during times were my bandwidth isn't metered.

But there is a way to get around it, just go into Services and disable Windows Update and disable at startup and stop it if its already running. Not ideal, a way to deal with it. Just got remember to turn it back on to update regularly which I do forget at times.

I would think Windows 10 would be an optional update and you can skip those.
