Kerissa SK app

Post by Littlabit » Sat Dec 04, 2010 6:21 pm

Name: Kerissa
-Class: Shadow Knight
-Race: Human
-Level: 87
-Number of AAs: 1269

-Magelo Number (if you have one): N/A unless needed, then I'll get off my lazy butt and apply. 9-)

-List which keys and flags you have:
Trak, Charasis, Sleeper's, Shissar, Lxanvom, Thunderous Foyer, Drunder, Hand of Glory, Enchanted Ring of Torden, Void D and all but Murdunck's Last Stand for E. I haven't started any of the UF or HoT quests yet.

-List your alts on this server (name, level, class):
Tannatuyiel 86 Ranger, Darkalt 85 Cleric, Shaddowe 81 Necro, Nardri 80 Paladin, Konkor 76 Monk, Chincy 75 Mage, Deedrah 75 BL, Aleeli 71 Enchanter, Bhugg 71 Shaman, Seldomme 69 Rogue, Khayleen 69 Wizard, Correal 66 Druid, Rythmand 66 Bard and Angass 61 Warrior.

A Little Bit About Yourself

-What are a few things you enjoy most about playing EQ? (For example: raiding, grouping, soloing, tradeskilling, exploring, questing, etc):
I like all the aspects of the game. I especially got hooked by how the raids were dependent upon all the classes doing thier job and working together. I really don't much care for grinding but put up with it because it is a necessary evil.

-Tell us some of your short and long term goals for your character. (For example: quests, epic, tradeskills, leveling, AA ability, etc)
I'd like to definately reach the big Level 100 with Keri. Not sure if the game will last long enough for me to get all teh alts leveled up to, but I have been trying. 9-)

-When do you normally play EQ? What is your time zone?
I live in Sacramento, California; Pacific Coast time. I usually try to get online between 5 and 6 pm on weeknights, then around 4:30 am on weekends and bounce on and off during those two days as I get tired.

-CN generally raids Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8 pm Eastern Time. Raiding is not required, but we would like to know what % of raids you think you will attend.
I would hazard a guess and say one third; the Saturdays definately. Family life has been cropping up and keeping me away until 6:30 some nights.

-Please tell us which other guilds you have been a member of and why you chose to leave.
I started in Unbroken Chains of Valor on Vazaelle. We were absorbed by Razors' Edge later. When Razors' imploded, I talked to Whizzbang and asked if it would be OK to app with Walkers. I have been with them ever since.

-If you are still a member in another guild, please explain:
Walkers has lost most of it's raid active members and become a sort of ghost guild as far as friendly chat goes. So, I'm kind of waiting to see if I can be picked up by CN.

Your Experience with CN
I have attended a few raids with CN, firstly as amember Alliance guild and then to a couple that were by invitation from the respective GL's. Most of them I played Shaddowe, my necro. But the latter ones have been with Kerissa.

-Which members of CN do you know? Have you had a chance to raid or group with us?
I honestyly can't say I know any CN member as a CN member. I may know them as thier toon name. The times I have grouped/raided I have been impressed with your professionalism in keeping things rolling smoothly and efficiently.

-Why are you applying to CN? Is there a specific reason you chose to apply to our guild?
Zahashah told me about your offer to Walkers members and those former Walkers who had tried out AD. I couldn't meet the raid requirements for AD so I never left. I've missed talking to my former guildies tho and hope to make some more friends. Soloing can be OK, but I love to read the banter between guildies.

-Tell us what your goals are for applying. What do you hope to get out of the guild?
Doh, see above, lol.

-Have you read the CN Rules and Policies and understand them?
Yes, and wholeheartedly approve of them.

Optional Info

-What do you do in real life?
I am a Computer Specialist/School Bus Driver for a small school district. I have been there for almost 30 years and was the founder of our IT department of one and built our LAN/Wan by hand.

-Where are you from?
Born and raised in Sacramento, California.

-What is your favourite colour? (with Canadian spelling)
I believe Noir is the appropriate spelling if you are French Canadian. 9-) Black for the rest of us.

Once again, thanks for giving me the opportunity to apply for membership.

Ooh, Sacramento! I lived there for several years :). I still have my Sacramento Kings license plate on my car, and will never give it up!
