85 - Ranger app

Postby Ayragon » Sat Aug 07, 2010 8:39 am

-Name: Ayragon
-Class: Ranger
-Race: Human
-Level: 85
-Number of AAs: 1500 and change

-Magelo Number (if you have one): Maybe a month behind or so...

-List which keys and flags you have:
Have most os the old world flags up to raid access for Mansion… Have Void E and T8, just missing Tower Key. Here is a link to my eq bio tab
http://eqplayers.station.sony.com/character_biography.vm?characterId=502511174904

-List your alts on this server (name, level, class):
Idream - 85 Cleric
Fwatu - 85 Shaman
(both active alts, 1000ish AA's and T7 group gear)

A Little Bit About Yourself

-What are a few things you enjoy most about playing EQ? (For example: raiding, grouping, soloing, tradeskilling, exploring, questing, etc):
Basically, I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment you get when you, your group, or your raid, completes an event that is particularily challenging. I like exploring factor, and basically anything that holds my attention.

-Tell us some of your short and long term goals for your character. (For example: quests, epic, tradeskills, leveling, AA ability, etc)
Don't have any real goals, just do what seems to be the most fun. Recently completed all the MPG trials for the 50 resist boost, so will have to find something else thats fun to do.

-When do you normally play EQ? What is your time zone?
Normally play on raid nights, or days that I slack and work from home....EST

-CN generally raids Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8 pm Eastern Time. Raiding is not required, but we would like to know what % of raids you think you will attend.
I would certainly like to make all raids, but realistically 1 weeknight and a fair amount of Saturday's would be most probable.

-Please tell us which other guilds you have been a member of and why you chose to leave.
I have been with Tribal Fury since before Moses wore short pants. TF is an incredible guild but has recently suffered another large player exodus which has all but crushed our raid progression ability. Most of the people I played with their have moved on (and a fair amount to CN)

-If you are still a member in another guild, please explain:
I still have the TF tag, but will drop it if it poses a problem. Would just like to tidy up some lose ends first.

Your Experience with CN

-Which members of CN do you know? Have you had a chance to raid or group with us?
I know many many members of CN, and all the ex TF members....although how many will admit to knowing a ranger is another story. I have yet to raid officially with CN, but maybe tonight.

-Why are you applying to CN? Is there a specific reason you chose to apply to our guild?
I'm applying to CN as your progression path is exactly where I left off. I like the people, and the style feels like the way TF did a few years back.

-Tell us what your goals are for applying. What do you hope to get out of the guild?
My goal for applying is to have fun, and avoid and initiation process that involves Goofy, or goats.

-Have you read the CN Rules and Policies and understand them?
Yup

Optional Info

-What do you do in real life?
Unix Technical Specialist for a Canadian Bank

-Where are you from?
Ontario....yup Canada...brrrr

-Would you consider traveling to attend annual CN gatherings at various places in North America?
Yes, but do I have to buy the beer?

-What is your favourite colour? (with Canadian spelling)
Blue, eh.

Incredible.....this ranger did a great job on the raids this week....he should be tagger for sure.

/cough.....

seriously this weeks raiding, along with so many helpful tips from CN players along with the jocular attitute and inclusion of apps on raids (have tower key now) has put the fun back in EQ for me. I hope things do go well.

nice to see some old friends again too.
