Stonecrush - This may be a day late and a dollar short.

Postby Stonecrush » Sat Apr 17, 2010 3:29 pm

Application for Membership

Your Main Character

-Name: Stonecrush Redshirt (Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and that other guy "Aww man, I am so dead")
-Class: Monk
-Race: Iksar (there are other races?)
-Level: 80 (almost 81)
-Number of AAs: 1277 (not enough for my likeing)

-Magelo Number (if you have one): http://eq.magelo.com/profile/1013853

-List which keys and flags you have: A lot most of them pre SoD Working on this as I've not really explored this expansion.

-List your alts on this server (name, level, class): Dillingers he's my old toon 79. Don't play him though. My Necro Jormungand and that's about it.

A Little Bit About Yourself

-What are a few things you enjoy most about playing EQ? (For example: raiding, grouping, soloing, tradeskilling, exploring, questing, etc): I enjoy trying to find a group of good people to pal around with and get stuff done with. I used to two box all the time (shm) but it's tedious and boring. I want to experience groups of people while playing EQ. Although my time online will be limited to a few hours here and there. As far as Raiding. That is not my top priority. I will raid if DPS *insert other monk skills here* is required.

-Tell us some of your short and long term goals for your character. (For example: quests, epic, tradeskills, leveling, AA ability, etc) I don't exactly have any long term goals, except hit 85 and see what the expansions really have to offer.

-When do you normally play EQ? What is your time zone? My Time zone is EST. My Normal Play times will be later in evenings on Weekdays and possibly spotted around weekends depending.

-CN generally raids Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8 pm Eastern Time. Raiding is not required, but we would like to know what % of raids you think you will attend. Is it ok if I put unknown here or totally random? My life is full of so much randomness that I can't say for sure. Worst case scenario says 10%?

-Please tell us which other guilds you have been a member of and why you chose to leave.

-If you are still a member in another guild, please explain: N/A Will update if I join a guild for Guild Portal like Ant/Jahs/Weed did.

Your Experience with CN

-Which members of CN do you know? Have you had a chance to raid or group with us? I Know Silly (for a LONG time off and on), I know All of the former TFer's here raid/grouped with them at least a half dozen times. I know Nlannie pretty well, and Goofy. If I missed anyone it's cause I slack and I apologize. Beat me to a pulp later. :P

-Why are you applying to CN? Is there a specific reason you chose to apply to our guild? I am applying because Whyllow has threaten to beat me thoroughly while Phane watches with sheer glee. Actually apping because most of my friends are here now.

-Tell us what your goals are for applying. What do you hope to get out of the guild? Just more friends really. I plan on helping where I can when I can.

-Have you read the CN Rules and Policies and understand them? Yes, I read the rules and will behave. I will miss training Jumjam... I will offer RL 100k pp if I can train just Jum on the raid.. :)

Optional Info

-What do you do in real life? I am IT Support specialist for a IP Law firm

-Where are you from? Philadelphia

-Would you consider traveling to attend annual CN gatherings at various places in North America? Maybe, not sure though, Only met one person through EQ and that was Jarsace. I was in San Diego and Drove up to LA when I worked for the DoD. Interstate 5 if you are careful can do over 100mph and no one notices.. Esp by Camp P.

-What is your favourite colour? (with Canadian spelling) Blue although my Shirt's Red.

PS. I know that Apps are closed but I figured it's worth a shot anyway. If I am to be denied feel free to press the big red Razzor button. It's shiny and red and yah know you want to. "Push the red button" "The Shiny Candy Like Red Button!"

PSS. Also like to note that Jumjam is in the closet about Goats. Goof you aren't a lone. Spread this a long please.

I was in Triality a LONG time ago as my Mage, and I was a member of TF before that. I left because my friends seem to be migrating here. Anymore details please feel free to ask.

Sorry I've been a Ghost the past week. I have a dilemma of the learning curve in the new expansions. I also have a dilemma of my current character. I found out why I quit last time in that I didn't enjoy being a Monk anymore (I missed the Monk crew I had back in the day). I found a new fondness for my necro (work in progress MAJOR work in progress) he's level 70 now and will hopefully level quickly as I get a handle of where I left off as him. His name is Jormungand (Liked the name due to the creatures poisonous destruction of Thor (Nothing against Thor I am sure he was pleasent)).

If you need anything, I'll be there mostly. I will help anyone who needs a hand even if it means me logging on my Monk to do so. Please let me know if there are any comments, concerns, or questions.

I wanted to be sure that I wasn't trying to pull a fast one on CN with my decisions.

Another Note, I am willing to take any necro tips, tricks, advisement's. Please no Alt+F4 or /Q jokes as I learned that lesson LONG ago. :P

Thanks for your time as always.

Update

2.0, 233 AA's and pushing 81.. Going for 85 then back on the AA train...

http://eq.magelo.com/profile/1783129

Thanks, Jum, Phane/Wimbus, Whyllow, DarkDoc, Lliz, and Wamadorn for their help so far with everything.

Side note doing Anguish armor for the 4th time and it still being this bad with faction (even with an OMM hit) makes no sense! KOS to Threatening... yeah ok. Avatar of War event took you from KOS to at least apprehensive to Dragons and he's not nearly has hard! Meh
