85 Shaman hopeful

Postby Glauri » Fri May 29, 2009 7:20 am

-Name: Glauri
-Class: Shaman
-Race: Beautiful Barb!
-Level: 85
-Number of AAs: 1600+
-Magelo Number (if you have one): http://eq.magelo.com/profile/263892
-List which keys and flags you have: Void F and MMM / Crystallos base
-List your alts on this server (name, level, class): Fenguri, 70 Warrior

A Little Bit About Yourself

-What are a few things you enjoy most about playing EQ? (For example: raiding, grouping, soloing, tradeskilling, exploring, questing, etc): I most enjoy raiding with fewer people than the event was designed for, and coming up with a strategy that allows us to win. TSing drives me crazy.

-Tell us some of your short and long term goals for your character. (For example: quests, epic, tradeskills, leveling, AA ability, etc): I still have many AAs that I would eventually like to acquire, but mostly I’d like to see parts of EQ that have so far been inaccessible to me.

-When do you normally play EQ? What is your time zone?
I am EST and generally play during the evenings and weekends.

-CN generally raids Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8 pm Eastern Time. Raiding is not required, but we would like to know what % of raids you think you will attend.
Until the 2nd of July, I am likely to make only the Saturday raids. After that date, I can probably make all of them, as my course at the local community college will be over.

-Please tell us which other guilds you have been a member of and why you chose to leave.
I have been in Pactum for several years with Glauri. Previous to joining Pactum, I was in CC, PO and other, older guilds with Fenguri.

-If you are still a member in another guild, please explain:
Still tagged w/Pactum for use of guild hall.

Your Experience with CN

-Which members of CN do you know? Have you had a chance to raid or group with us?
Sadly the only CN members that I really know are the recent members that y’all have picked up from Pactum. Please don't hold the fact that I know folks like Dranorth against me!

-Why are you applying to CN? Is there a specific reason you chose to apply to our guild?
I like the way CN works – the respect for members, the honor of the guild as a whole. I would never apply to a guild that made me ashamed of the tag I was wearing. I also have watched CN’s progress for quite a while and it is something of which I would like to be a part.

-Tell us what your goals are for applying. What do you hope to get out of the guild?
I want to hang out with friends, new and old. I also look forward to raiding again and the pleasure of beating events.

-Have you read the CN Rules and Policies and understand them?
You betcha!

-Other -

-What do you do in real life?
I am a retired air traffic controller who attends community college to try to keep her mind from rusting.

-Where are you from?
Maryland

-Would you consider traveling to attend annual CN gatherings at various places in North America?
Yep.

-What is your favourite colour? (with Canadian spelling)
Bleu? Gah, I didn't have time to study!! Is this an open book test?

Grouped with her last night. Solid player, with good anticipation and awareness. Also has a backbone and sense of humor.

aren't you an admin? you could just move it! Seriously, if I make a comment about a player, I should be able to say it to their face, so I have done so here to him/her.

Thanks for the honesty Bozz. And...regarding the "him/her": -- it's most definitely a her!

Goofy is not an admin - that might be a scary proposition lol

Yes, you should let them know when you give a good comment, but some may not read this thread and then would not know the positive feedback in the voting thread. Just my thoughts. As for being a admin, well, Jaffod probably summed that up. They don't give me any power around here, I just act like they do.
