Whyllowtwyg - Druid looking for a new home!

Postby whyllowtwyg » Sun Feb 15, 2009 3:31 pm

Your Main Character

-Name: Whyllowtwyg
-Class: Druid
-Race: Wood Elf
-Level: 85
-Number of AAs: 3814
-Magelo Number (if you have one): http://eq.magelo.com/profile/1147695
-List which keys and flags you have: MMM raid & all others up to that point

-List your alts on this server (name, level, class): Hildaany lvl 75, Beastlord, and a few ts mules (i'm a packrat!)

A Little Bit About Yourself

-What are a few things you enjoy most about playing EQ? (For example: raiding, grouping, soloing, tradeskilling, exploring, questing, etc)
I love to do any quest that comes along, tradeskilling, raiding & grouping.
-Tell us some of your short and long term goals for your character. (For example: quests, epic, tradeskills, leveling, AA ability, etc) Right now, I really don't have any quests going, very sad about that! Biggest thing I'd love to someday finish is the much loved BIC! Always looking for new recipes to try.

-When do you normally play EQ? What is your time zone? Right now, I'm on pretty much everyday. I live on the west coast.

-CN generally raids Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8 pm Eastern Time. Raiding is not required, but we would like to know what % of raids you think you will attend. I can see myself making all of those at this time.

-Please tell us which other guilds you have been a member of and why you chose to leave. Tribal Fury. It just wasn't a fun place to be anymore.

-If you are still a member in another guild, please explain:

Your Experience with CN

-Which members of CN do you know? Have you had a chance to raid or group with us? Jumjam, Oaklen. I've not had a chance to raid with you all.

-Why are you applying to CN? Is there a specific reason you chose to apply to our guild? I miss the laid back family atmosphere of a guild. As much as I love raiding, it's not the main reason I play this game. I really like the idea of the respect that you ask all of your members to have for each other. I think that has gotten lost along the way in this game.

-Tell us what your goals are for applying. What do you hope to get out of the guild? I hope to find the fun of EQ again. This has always been something I did to have fun and relax. I don't look at it as a second job.

-Have you read the CN Rules and Policies and understand them? I have read them and understand them.

Greetings.

We have not met, but since it has happened to me more times than I can remember, I am curious... do you ever have to repeat your name 2 or 3 times before people get a /tell or /invite right?

Edit, meh, that wisecrack might have been funnier if someone hadn't beaten me to it.

Lol, I remember the first time I met Barcode. I was a young enchanter on a "raid" in Chardok for Vitty's epic I think. Actually we had a super uber SK along that was PoTime geared so it was pretty impressive to watch him decimate the mobs there. Anyway, I was still fairly new at the time and didn't know about /tt or /rt so I had to type his name. I did know about /r though, so as long as nobody sent me a tell before I replied, I was golden.

The really funny thing, I didn't understand why people kept calling him barcode...I just thought he had a really strange/hard to type/annoying name!

Of course, the above has nothing to do with the applicant. Hello, %t and I look forward to meeting you in game!
