He's doing fine.. he got hit in the chest by a pitch that I threw to him and blacked out, but was fine once he came to. Just managed to scare the crap out of me and my wife.

That calls for a BIG ice cream, on a waffle cone, with rainbow sprinkles.
Kids + sports = Ice cream
Kids + sports boo boo's = BIG ice cream
:teeth:

Glad he is ok.

Well, we actually took him to get a couple toys at the store afterwards (and they had an ice cream truck right by there, so yes, he got icecream), then took him to see Iron Man right after that, so we did spoil him a bit that night lol

Iron Man has to be one of the best Marvel movies released yet!

I suppose I should break down and go see this "iron man".

I'm glad to hear your son will be OK. I wish there were an adult baseball league around here, but it's just not popular here I guess.

There's adult baseball all over the country.. check out web sites for MSBL or MABL.

I'm going to be missing at least most of tonight's raid.. I have an 8:30 game to umpire so will be getting home around 10:30 or 11

Sorry to be offline so much.. my umpiring schedule has been a bit nuts (didn't get home from games until 11:30 both Fri and Sat, and have games to work every afternoon this week coming up). I can log in for at least some of the raid on Tuesday night, but I have a game I'm playing on Wed night also. I'll log in when I can.

Just FYI... today I take my son to his game, go work a game at 6, then have a game to play at 8, so I won't be on at all tonight.. if I'm not too exhausted from my 19 hour day today, I should be on for the raid tomorrow.. Saturday is a definite possibility, depending on my umpiring assignments (which are normally in the early afternoon)...I do manage to log in for bits and pieces during my free time though.. (although I'm starting to wonder what exactly free time is anymore

My wife and son are heading out the first week of July, but I'm not heading out there until the end of July.
