A Little Bit About Yourself

-What are a few things you enjoy most about your class?
Cleric is far and away my favourite class... I love the responsibility of keeping everyone else in the group alive. My absolute favourite thing is the moment when everyone is sure the tank (or whomever) is going down, and a desperate heal lands JUST in time.

-What are a few things you enjoy most about playing EQ?
Grouping is most enjoyable for me, usually exp groups or missions to accomplish something specific, such as DoN's or LDoN's. I love putting them together and making sure they run smoothly, which is easy if you have a good guild to put the groups together from. :)
-Give us an example of what you normally do when you play right now.
I usually go to MPG or do an LDoN/DoN. Tradeskilling if I'm not up for killing stuff.
-What does a typical evening of playing EQ look like?
I keep a large friend list, so usually as soon as I log on, I start searching for a tank to put together a group to go to one of my usual hunting grounds. I prefer to play for an uninterrupted period of time, several hours. I usually keep a loot list for my groups, especially if we're in an area where runes drop, so that at the end of the night, everyone gets a shot at runes (if they want 'em) and other loot without one person walking away with everything because of their lucky dice. :)
-Tell us some of your short and long term goals for your character. (For example: quests, epic, tradeskills, leveling, AA ability, etc)
I would like to do my epic 1.5 and get tradeskills up to 200, but these are long term goals... most important to me is gaining more AA's! I'll hit 70 today, so that is a *very* short term goal. :) In particular I'd like to improve my mana pool as my regen is already capped. My HP and AC need some work as well...those are important but ongoing goals. Another goal is to learn more about raid leadership responsibilities... I've been invited on several different raids with other guilds, and have been responsible for organising CH chains and acting as healing liaison to the raid leader... I'm very interested in eventually being able to perform similar or expanded functions during raids with my guild.
-When do you normally play EQ? What is your time zone?
Can vary quite a bit, sometimes during the day, more often in the p.m. though, around 8pm-midnight or so. Eastern time zone.
-Please list your alts on this server (just names).
Elera, Ionea, Fione
-Please tell us which other guilds you have been a part of and why you chose to leave.
I was a member of Eternal Vitality, Officer. The guild eventually disbanded and many joined Fellowship of Vazaelle. I joined FoV about 3 years ago and became an officer last year. I left a few weeks ago after the vast majority of my friends had left, leaving the guild almost empty.

Your Experience with CN

-Do you know any current members of CN? Have you ever raided or hunted with us? Please give specific names and events if you can remember. .
I know many former members of CN, and several current members. Most were guildies of mine in FoV: Reiynman, Myrron, Rachelmarie, Roladena, Windrien, Obewan (Quiigon), Fleurlin, Lanyder to name a few.
-Why are you applying to CN? Is there a specific reason you chose to apply to our guild?
I thought about where I should go very seriously. I chose CN because so many of my friends had chosen CN and told me such good things about the people and the guild philosophy. I feel it would be a good home for me.
-Tell us what your goals are for applying... what do you hope to get out of the guild?
My greatest hope is to have a base of great people to draw from to form groups! I would also like to be able to attend and contribute to as many raids as I can. PoP progression is a serious goal, but one I'd like to work at over time instead of feeling like it's a race to see who gets done quickest.

CN Rules and Policies - Required Reading for all Applicants

Vitala rocks.

That's all I got to say about that, and no more need be said.

Whee! Glad to see your app, Vitala. I was a little worried that after last night's adventures in RSS and MPG, you may be scared to join us...

... let's just say she was properly initiated (I think Pallistous called it "hazed") into the CN cleric family.

I am absolutely thrilled to see you apply! I am looking forward to everyone else meeting you; it isn't every day that a such wonderful cleric and person apps, so I am very excited.

Silly is right, it is very hard for me to stop talking about Vitty! I will limit my comments though, and let everyone see what a great person she is on their own. :) And for her to see what a great group of people CN is. :)

Vitala was a great friend in EQ. CN-EQ will benefit a lot with her as a member. :)

I'll gladly put in a plug for Vitala. Pretty sure I'm one of the "friends list" people that she just brushes shoulders with from time to time, but I used to group with her alot when I was lower level, seemed she always had a cheerful group invitation for me for ldon or pretty much anytime I was lfg. She has saved me numerous times in the past from just sitting around lfg playing gems! From ldon to the occasional WoS cubby group. She's always come across as a very very nice, wonderful person and definitely a competent cleric. I'll have to echo Reiynnman's words, here. Vitala rocks!

To know her is to love her (even when she's not dead :P ).

Oh, and she's a sexy high elf, too! Can't ever get enough of those!

And just to clarify... Bina, did you see the announcement of Lany's and my wedding a while back? I posted 'job functions' for everyone of my friends/guildies.... EXCEPT for Windrien. This, I must point out, resulted in an immediate post by Windrien commenting on the seeming exception. The truth of the matter is that I miss my two gnome friends so much I must invent ways to get them to come out of the woodwork to chat with me again. And I see it worked! Mwahahahaha! You know... you could just come play again and save me the trouble of coming up with fiendishly clever plots to get you to re-surface..... *grin*

/hugs to Bina from Vitty

Nah, Bin probably doesn't even remember how to log on anymore, let alone be the chanter that he once was. It's sort of sad, really. I picture him as an old, wrinkled, dried-up gnome somewhere lost in Azeroth, his eyesight so out of focus that when he sees himself in the mirror he pictures a night elf rogue of epic proportions.

/sigh

Poor lil gnome.

My heart goes out to you, Binster.
Should you ever decide to come back to reality, that is... Norrath of course, I'm sure I can find some kind-hearted soul to help nurse you back to health.

For that matter, rumor has it Vitty gives a mean backrub said to have healing properties among other ... properties.

Well, where to start. Bah, that will take way too long to say all the great things about Vitty and I type way too slow to try to. It warms me to see your app here finally, too bad I am retired now to see you get in. :P

I've known Vit almost from the time I installed EQ on my computer. Funny lady and an excellent cleric, even if she was a little scared of a wizard. =) Great to see you app here, I think CN is exactly the family you're looking for. I thought about it a long time ago but admired your loyalty too much to mention it.
