I was having that exact issue last fall on three different computers. I did the complete new download and it has worked since. I don't know if that is what you mean by reinstalling it or not. I then copied over my ui files, etc, and it worked.

Seems to be widespread on Sunday morning that people can't log in. I logged in and changed my passwords last night, then logged out for the night, except my trader. Now I can't log in because I am underage. I wasn't underage when EQ came out, let alone now, lol.

They released a new bards tale about 5 years ago and it included a copy of the original bards tale. I played it on a Commodore 64 in the 80s and thought it was a great game. Playing it in 2005ish was amazing how primitive it was.

I know you from some groups and at least a couple of hot zones/popular zones. These tend to be high drama areas to start with and you seemed to well suited for those zones. I have seen you mature some since the days when you were playing in BoT when it was a hot zone and you have definitely improved...

I don't think that any or many of my toons need it, but I will try to be there with my coh bot parked at the top of the tower (Zeka?), to help speed things up.

Now I know where I stand! Seems about right though, lol.

I entered the following in the run window (Vista)

"C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

You can use the browse function to find the eqgame.exe file, then add the patchme after you select the file.
